TJ4200 Attic 4-Way Inlet Circulation & Placement
In order to maximize the function of the TJ4200 TopJet Gravity Ceiling Inlets, below are TJ4200 Air Vent installation recommendations with the number of inlets needed and optimal spacing for your particular application in a 40′ – 50′ wide poultry house as well as 60′ wide poultry house. The TJ4200 is designed to distribute the drier, warmer attic air evenly in four directions, minimizing harmful drafts on your birds.

Width x length of house divided by 1500 = total number of inlets needed. Do not exceed 20 TJ4200 TopJet Attic Inlets per house.
With a 40’-50’ wide house, alternate the TJ4200 Attic Inlets 2’-3’ from the peak of the house. Place the first and last inlet 20’ from the end of the house. Subtract 40 feet from length house and divide that length by the number of inlets left + one = the spacing of the TJ4200 Inlets.
For example, 14 TJ4200 Gravity Inlets for a 40 x 500 ft. house (minus 40 ft) = 460 divided by 12 plus one space or 13 = an inlet every 35 ft.

For example, 20 inlets for a 60 x 500 ft. house -40 = 460 divided by 18 + 1 space or 19 = a TJ4200 Inlet every 24 ft.
